Boy’s Wilderness Camp (ages 13-16) Off-Site

Want to experience the great outdoors, the quietness of nature and to learn the importance of working together? Boys wilderness is the camp for you!

Wilderness Camp has some big changes. This year we will be carrying all of our personal gear on canoes, travelling up Hines Creek for 2-3 hours. When we get to our haul-out spot, we will pull the canoes up and then, using compasses, we will travel through the bush and find our camp site, while carrying our personal gear. Activities this year will include; Bear-safety training, Bush navigation, bow making, nature hikes/exploration, Wide-Games, Fire-making (Unless a fire-ban is in effect), map reading, exploring Hines Creek by canoe, morning and evening Bible devotions.
